This sensor can directly output accurate 20-bit pressure reading or 20-bit height reading, and 12-bit temperature reading, the effective resolution is up to 30 cm.
From the measurement
start to the international standard unit output (Pascal, meters and
degrees Celsius), MCU only need to read and write I2C operation, does
not require any additional data processing, can effectively save MCU
resources and greatly reduce system power consumption at the same time.
MPL3115A2 also supports on-chip pressure, height and temperature offset
adjustment, autonomous data acquisition, limit alarm and extreme records
and other functions. The sensor also provides up to 128 times the
oversampling rate, 32 FIFO sampling buffer for data storage, the host
can read data as needed.
